Breezy Jackson

Breezy Jackson, RYT 500, is an ecologist, adventurer, and yoga teacher in Yosemite National Park, CA. Breezy has studied the influence of fires and floods on ecosystems in Idaho and California and currently directs field stations in Yosemite and Sequoia-Kings Canyon National Parks for University of California, Merced. In addition to her work as a scientist, Breezy has worked in a support role to facilitate science expeditions in Antarctica, travelling with scientists to some of the most remote corners of the Earth. She has also worked as a fire lookout and wildland firefighter in the Cascade Mountains in Washington state. Breezy’s yoga teaching style is vigorous and playful while drawing on a foundation of proprioception and breath awareness. She enjoys spontaneous self-discovery and contemplation enhanced by wilderness travel and simplified living in a stunning landscape.
