Join the ever-growing Balanced Rock yoga community at our 15th Annual Yoga Jambalaya. Experience a carefully crafted blend of yoga classes from Yosemite–inspired instructors while rejuvenating in the Yosemite Bug’s full spa including hot tub and sauna. This one-day workshop is a great opportunity to give a boost to your yoga practice, connect with friends old and new, or pamper yourself for a day.

Our schedule is very flexible – you can drop in for one or two classes and lunch, or get a room at the Yosemite Bug Rustic Mountain Resort and make a weekend of it. You can enjoy our Health and Wellness Marketplace featuring local artisans and health professionals. Treat yourself to dinner at the June Bug Cafe.

The teachers for this event are all highly trained, professional, certified yoga instructors who bring a wealth of knowledge and a passion to share it. Each instructor adds their own unique flavor of teaching, love and open-heartedness. Advanced registration is stongly advised although you may also pay at the door on a first-come, first-served availability.

Professional yoga instruction and use of mats and props.
Discounted access to the Bug Resort spa and sauna will be available (included in full day price). The Yosemite Bug Cafe will provide a fresh lunch options for participants from their regular and delicious menu.

Accommodations

The Yosemite Bug Resort has a variety of lodging available from hostel style dorms to private rooms with bath. The Yosemite region now has heavy visitation at all times of the year.  Book your rooms early.  For more info click here.

The Yosemite Bug Resort is located at 6979 Highway 140, Midpines, CA 95345. Driving time from the Bay Area is 3.5 hours. Reliable public transportation is available from the Bay Area and the Central Valley to the Bug Resort.

All levels welcome. No yoga experience necessary. Fitness level moderate.
