The Art of Assisting & Adjusting
With Heather Sullivan and Breezy Jackson
May 14 - 15, 2022
Program Details
The Art of Assisting and Adjusting is a powerful weekend of learning! Effective assisting and adjusting has many components beyond hands on adjustments. Participants will learn and practice the importance of observing human bodies in poses and verbal cueing along with using props to support poses, an overview of basic anatomy, and safe and supportive hands-on adjustments. Training participants will leave with the tools and confidence to safely guide students into and out of poses, utilize anatomical landmarks to enhance instruction, perform effective verbal teaching, and discern when touch is supportive or not.
