***PLEASE NOTE THE VENUE CHANGE FOR THIS TRAINING***

This 3-Day module is part of Balanced Rock’s unique WildYoga Advanced Studies and Teacher Training Program, which integrates a focus on asana practice, meditation, pranayama, Ayurveda, yoga philosophy, and anatomy with the opportunity for deep connection to the natural world. Offered in the stunning, sacred landscapes in and around Yosemite National Park, this program invites us to deepen our understanding of yoga and ecology.

A key aspect that differentiates WildYoga is the deep integration of the natural world with our yoga practice. The uniqueness of these teachings is not only doing yoga in a beautiful outdoor location, it is doing our practice with the wild world, integrating the flow of the Merced River, or the stability of El Capitan’s granite into our experience. Indeed the wild world will be much more than a backdrop to our journey, it will be a living part of our practice! We will also integrate connection with the natural world during our indoor sessions so you can practice and teach in any environment.

Each weekend or segment is designed to stand alone, or the entire course can be taken to become a Yoga Alliance-Certified 200-hour RYT. The Yoga and Ayurveda Intensive offers 20 hrs of continuing education credits when taken on its own.

Our talented core group of teachers will be joined by special guests to create a unique and powerful training. Each training is authentic and tempered to the needs of the students. Tuition assistance is available for this and all multi-day Balanced Rock courses. Please note that food and accommodation is not included in tuition price. Class sizes will be small with abundant instructor attention available for each student.

Aspiring and seasoned teachers, all yoga practitioners, and outdoor enthusiasts new to yoga are welcome! This course is perfect for those simply wanting to deepen their personal yoga study, continue their education as a yoga instructor, or seek a new perspective on yoga from the natural world.

Location: *This training is now taking place at the Yosemite Bug Rustic Mountain Resort in Midpines, CA.
